Germany hopes that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will make an official visit to Berlin this year, according to German Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ralf Horlemann at a farewell meeting with journalists.
"President Aliyev has been invited to Germany. We hope he will visit Germany in the near future. There is no specific date yet, but we expect to receive him with an official visit this year," the ambassador said.
He also noted that the annual political consultations between the two countries have already taken place this year. In 2027, alongside political consultations, the high-level working group on trade and investments will continue its work.
