Hikmat Babayev: "The Global South will become one of the main poles of the new world order".

Hikmat Hajiyev, assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, emphasized the role of the Global South in the new world order. Political scientist Hikmat Babayev supported these views in an interview with Oxu.Az.

Babayev noted that the Global South comprises a large part of the world's population and economy, including China, India, Pakistan, and Indonesia.

He highlighted Azerbaijan's role as a bridge between the Global South and the West. The West is also undergoing transformation in the new world order.

Criticizing France's neocolonial policies, Babayev stressed that Azerbaijan acts as an independent actor. "Azerbaijan is based on the principles of international law," he added.
