Azerbaijan is a venue for international events. This was stated by Hikmat Hajiyev, head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration.
He made the remark to journalists during the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku: "Azerbaijan successfully hosts WUF13, just as it hosted COP29".
"Not every country has conditions like ours for holding such events. Reasons include security issues and wars," he added.
