Presidential aide Hikmat Hajiyev thanked media representatives covering the 13th session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13).
Speaking with journalists, he said: "It was a very hard and laborious job. You were active from early morning until evening."
Hajiyev added: "You then continued working in the city, promptly delivering reports. We read and followed everything."
He expressed gratitude to all media leaders and colleagues, especially journalists, operators and photographers, calling them heroes behind the scenes.
"It is gratifying to see our media getting younger and new faces joining," Hajiyev noted.
