President Ilham Aliyev spoke at the opening of the Islamic Development Bank Group's 2026 Annual Meetings.
He noted that over the past years, social support projects covering more than 30% of the population have been implemented.
“Today, the level of poverty and unemployment stands at approximately 5%,” the President emphasized.
The head of state said that maintaining employment will always remain a focus.
