President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan addressed the participants of the Turkic World Week dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turkological Congress. He highlighted the growing role of Turkic states on the international arena.
According to a report by Haber Global TV channel, the event in Baku featured Aliyev's message: "The Turkic world family, befitting our ancestors who created a great civilization, is on its way to becoming one of the influential geopolitical power centers of the century."
Aliyev added: "We will not spare any effort to ensure the strength and resilience of this family."
