Russia has no significant influence in many global processes, where China's role is more visible, according to political commentator Khayal Bashirov.

China's role in the Middle East includes support for Iran—political, diplomatic, weapons, and intelligence—as well as backing Russia in the Ukraine war. China also facilitates Iran's export of sanctioned goods.

China views Taiwan through the prism of territorial integrity, while the US is unwilling to relinquish control over Taiwan. These issues are discussed in Beijing, with the Middle East being key.

Trump was forced to visit China without the Iran card. I am not optimistic about a US-China agreement on Iran. Iran appears to be sending messages to China, which will likely prolong the process using its capabilities.

For Iran, the nuclear issue is fateful. China may use certain cards to influence Iran. Trump's message of possibly visiting Russia is not coincidental. This visit is significant for US-China relations and could shape a new world order.
