Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov addressed participants of the Turkic World Week dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turkology Congress.
He stated that 100 years ago in Baku, under the slogan of unity in language, thought, and action, the foundation for the intellectual revival of the Turkic world was laid.
Japarov recalled that despite the complex geopolitical situation of that time, important issues were discussed: 'This was undoubtedly of historical significance in terms of brotherhood and its further strengthening.'
According to the President, the decisions made at the congress contributed to the integration of Turkic peoples into the world.
