President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of "Karabakh Textile House" LLC in Khojaly city on May 28.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and founder Rizvan Tahmazov informed the head of state about the enterprise.
Equipped with Turkish and Chinese technologies, the factory will produce 1.4 million textile products annually. Initially, home textiles, bed sets, towels will be manufactured.
85 people have been employed, mainly returnees from liberated areas. 40 people are undergoing 2-month training. The number of jobs is expected to reach 200 in the future.
The initial investment cost is 4.2 million manat, of which 3.2 million is a concessional loan and 1 million is private investment.
The enterprise will contribute to economic development and employment in the liberated territories.
