The intergovernmental document signed in Zangilan defines the strategic directions of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia.
Oxu.Az reports that Russia's trade representative in Azerbaijan, Adam Khakimov, stated this in an interview with Report.
"Recently, an intergovernmental document was signed in Zangilan between Azerbaijan and Russia. In this document, we noted all strategic directions. The fact that the signing took place in Zangilan was very symbolic for us," he said.
According to Khakimov, Azerbaijan remains one of Russia's main partners in the South Caucasus.
He emphasized that one of the priorities for Russian business in Azerbaijan will be expanding presence, including the activities of Russian companies in the liberated territories.
According to Khakimov, Azerbaijan's industrial parks, technoparks, and special economic zones are considered important platforms for localization of production and subsequent export of products to foreign markets.
