During the meeting, Azerbaijan's environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, and ecological sustainability measures were discussed. Projects of IDEA Public Union, including biodiversity enrichment, environmental education, rare species protection, and ecosystem restoration, were highlighted.
The importance of expanding protected natural areas and their role in mitigating climate change impacts was emphasized. Joint research on the causes and effects of the Caspian Sea level decline was also discussed.
Opportunities for joint initiatives with UNFCCC to enhance youth environmental responsibility and climate knowledge were explored.
