MP Elchin Mirzabeyli stated that the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs remained silent while Azerbaijani cities were being destroyed.
Referring to President Ilham Aliyev's remarks in Zangilan, he said the 30-year conflict was not solely due to Armenia's occupation policy. International double standards also played a role.
Mirzabeyli noted that the US, France, and Russia, as co-chairs, are nuclear states and permanent UN Security Council members. They failed to enforce UN resolutions.
The co-chairs' main thesis was 'there is no military solution to the conflict,' which was a tool to pressure Azerbaijan. Cities like Aghdam, Fuzuli, Jabrayil, Zangilan, and Gubadly were systematically destroyed.
