UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed met with Mukhtar Babayev, the Azerbaijani President's representative on climate issues.
Oxu.Az reports that Mohammed wrote about it on her "X" social media account.
"It's a pleasure to meet with the Azerbaijani President's representative on climate issues," Mohammed noted.
She thanked Azerbaijan for its continued leadership after the COP29 Presidency: "We agreed on strengthening global leadership on climate action and mobilizing all possible sources for climate financing."
