Turkey's Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Murad Kurum, stated to journalists that they are working with all their might to strengthen Turkey-Azerbaijan relations.
According to Oxu.Az, he noted that bilateral discussions took place during the 13th session of the World Urban Forum today: "We are organizing meetings and gatherings to strengthen cooperation with our citizens and guests attending the event."
Kurum added: "Today, after the opening, we signed a memorandum with the Azerbaijani government within the framework of an energy efficiency project in buildings. We held bilateral meetings there. We also had meetings with the housing and urban planning ministers of Oman and Saudi Arabia."
He emphasized that these discussions were carried out for the future of cities and to provide better opportunities for citizens, within the concept of "sustainable cities" on behalf of both the region and their countries.
