The State Migration Service has reported that 44 individuals were returned to Azerbaijan from Europe under readmission agreements in April 2026.
This was carried out within the framework of international agreements in force.
In April, the SMS received 6,680 applications for temporary residence permits and 542 for permanent residence permits.
Applications for work permits for paid employment totaled 1,025.
Registration applications for foreigners and stateless persons reached 23,316.
Administrative decisions for migration law violations amounted to 1,746.
In April, 149 individuals were administratively expelled, with 516 expulsions in the first four months of the year.
