Leaders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) have called for the development of human-centered and ethical artificial intelligence. This call was made in the Turkestan Declaration.
The leaders emphasized that AI and digital technologies are strategic drivers for economic integration, sustainable development, innovation, and improving public services.
They also stressed the need for coordinated measures in ethical governance, cybersecurity, and data protection.
The declaration highlights the importance of expanding multilateral cooperation, building joint infrastructure, and strengthening human capital.
The signatories reaffirmed their commitment to the Nakhchivan Agreement, Vision of the Turkic World-2040, and other strategic documents.
