Pope Leo XIV sent a congratulatory letter to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of the national holiday.

In the letter, the Pope expressed wishes of solidarity and prosperity for the President and the people of Azerbaijan.

He also prayed that Azerbaijanis would continue to develop their society, uphold peace, and help those in need.
