President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of Portugal, Antonio Jose Seguro, on the occasion of the national holiday.

According to Oxu.Az, the letter states: "Dear Mr. President, I sincerely congratulate you and all the people of Portugal on the national holiday."

The head of state expressed confidence that Azerbaijan-Portugal relations, built on mutual respect, will continue to develop and strengthen.
