A delegation from the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture is attending the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku. They held a meeting at the Ministry of Science and Education.
During the meeting, university rector Oleksiy Dniprov announced that by decision of the Academic Council, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has been awarded the title of honorary doctor of the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture.
The rector noted that the head of state received this high title for his contributions to modern education, science, and urban development, as well as his efforts to strengthen Ukraine-Azerbaijan relations. The honorary doctorate diploma was presented to the Deputy Minister of Science and Education.
The meeting also included extensive discussions on establishing cooperation between higher education institutions and expanding mutual activities in the field of education between the two countries.
