President Ilham Aliyev spoke at the opening ceremony of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).

The head of state emphasized that organizing this global event demonstrates great commitment to urban development.

Since 2022, three National Urban Forums have been held jointly with UN-Habitat. Events were organized in cities that were under occupation for many years: Aghdam, Zangilan, and Khankendi.
