Russian President Vladimir Putin thanked Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

Oxu.Az reports citing TASS that Putin made the remarks during a meeting with heads of leading world news agencies.

Putin said he highly appreciates Russia-Azerbaijan relations: “Both economic and political ties are developing well. A Declaration on Allied Interaction was signed.”

He also stressed that Ilham Aliyev is making efforts to enrich strategic documents with concrete content.

Putin expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan's leadership for support in delivering humanitarian cargo to Iran.
