The Milli Majlis has adopted the "Information on the activities of the executive authority overseeing gender equality in 2025."
The report was presented by Bahar Muradova, Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women, and Children's Affairs.
In 2025, 48,546 marriages and 20,675 divorces were registered. The highest number of divorces occurred in Qarabag (1,590), Absheron-Khizi (1,504), Central Aran (1,442), and Ganja-Dashkasan (1,374) economic regions.
2,344 parents were administratively arrested for non-payment of alimony. There were 558 applications related to domestic violence.
