The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the "Rules for the Maintenance and Use of Public Railway Infrastructure".

According to Oxu.Az, Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a new decision.

Under the decision, the maintenance and management of the infrastructure will be carried out by the infrastructure owner, taking into account proposals from the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and AZCON.

To ensure safety in railway transport, the infrastructure must be technically sound, technical inspections must be conducted, and repair regimes and operating rules must be followed.

Smart transport systems, digital dispatching, and automated monitoring tools may be applied.

Infrastructure maintenance is financed from the owner's economic activities and other sources.

Equal, unimpeded, and non-discriminatory access to the infrastructure must be ensured.

Access from non-public railway lines to public lines is coordinated with ADY.

Services for infrastructure use are provided on a contractual basis.

Users must comply with rules, make timely payments, and provide necessary information.
