The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the "Regulation on the Energy Efficiency Information System."
Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed the decision.
The Ministry of Energy, together with the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, must transfer open data from the system to the "Open Data" portal and update it.
The regulation defines the legal, organizational, and technological framework for the Energy Efficiency Information System (EEIS).
The Ministry of Energy acts as the owner and operator of the EEIS.
The goal is to optimize public administration, conduct analysis, prepare forecasts and reports, and improve service quality.
Data in the system is state property.
Personal data is protected in accordance with the law.
