Anaclaudia Rossbach, Executive Director of the UN-Habitat programme, spoke at a special session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
She emphasized that post-conflict reconstruction is the most urgent issue. Rossbach cited the restoration work in Azerbaijan's Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions as an example.
"The integration of housing, public services, digital connectivity, and green energy networks into a unified territorial vision caught my attention," she said.
Rossbach noted that corridors do not only move goods and people but also reshape economic geography. Cities along the Middle Corridor gain real opportunities to diversify their economies.
