Rubio Heads to NATO Meeting

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio travels to Sweden for NATO meeting, then India for talks on energy, trade, and defense.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will travel to Sweden this week for a NATO foreign ministers meeting, where burden sharing among alliance members will be on the agenda.

Rubio will arrive in Helsingborg on Friday for the NATO discussions. He is scheduled to hold separate meetings with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

Following the NATO meeting, Rubio will travel to India from May 23-26. His itinerary includes stops in Kolkata, Agra, Jaipur, and New Delhi, where he will meet with senior Indian officials to discuss energy security, trade, and defense cooperation.
