U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will visit Armenia on May 26. During the visit, he will meet with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
The parties plan to sign bilateral documents.
International law expert Elgun Safarov told Oxu.Az that Azerbaijan's interests will be taken into account during the visit.
He added: "The meetings may discuss security, economic and technological issues, as well as the TRIPP project."
The expert noted: "New agreements and cooperation bridges between Azerbaijan and the U.S. support this view."
The TRIPP project will discuss Central Asia's economic potential. The opening of the Zangezur corridor will impact Azerbaijan's development.
These projects are seen as international support for Azerbaijan's peace agenda.
