Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin expressed condolences at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum over the tragic deaths of Azerbaijani sailors.
"Loss of life is always a great tragedy. I offer deep condolences to the families of the deceased Azerbaijani sailors," Galuzin said.
Earlier, five Azerbaijani citizens died in a drone attack on two cargo ships, "Natra" and "Sirkon," in the Sea of Azov. The vessels were en route from Turkey to Rostov-on-Don.
