President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a phone conversation.
They discussed global issues and the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) to be held in Baku.
Shehbaz Sharif wrote on 'X': "I was delighted to speak with my dear brother President Ilham Aliyev. We reaffirmed our commitment to deepening Pakistan-Azerbaijan brotherly ties and cooperation in trade, investment, and energy."
The Prime Minister wished success for WUF13 in Baku and emphasized that the event will contribute to global urban development under President Aliyev's leadership. Pakistan will be represented at a high level.
Sharif also exchanged views on regional developments, particularly peace efforts in the Middle East. He appreciated President Aliyev's kind words about Pakistan's sincere efforts for peace, dialogue, and diplomacy.
