Olumide Idowu, Executive Director of the International Climate Change Development Initiative Africa (ICCDI) based in Nigeria, has praised the "smart city" project in Karabakh.
In an interview with Oxu.Az, Idowu stated that one of the most successful examples he has seen in Azerbaijan is the "smart city" model created in Karabakh.
He noted that the integration of renewable energy sources into the "smart city" concept in Karabakh is an excellent example of sustainable development.
Idowu emphasized the importance of ensuring the participation of women, girls, and children in building sustainable cities. An approach covering all segments of society should be applied.
