Amendments have been made to the Labor Code and the Law "On Narcological Service and Control" in Azerbaijan.
President Ilham Aliyev signed the law. The changes tighten the rules for hiring drug addicts for jobs with activity restrictions.
Now, when hiring, drug addicts must submit a medical report from a state narcological medical institution.
If it is found that a drug addict was hired for a profession listed in Article 74 of the Labor Code, the employment contract will be terminated.
