The feature film "Taghiyev: Oil" about philanthropist Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev has premiered in London.
The event was held at BAFTA's Princess Anne Theatre. Attendees included Baku Media Center head Arzu Aliyeva, producer Orman Aliyev, director Zaur Gasimli, and People's Artist Parviz Mammadrzayev.
The film was produced with support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Ministry of Culture, and Cinema Agency. It is the first part of the "Taghiyev" series.
Azerbaijan's Ambassador to the UK Elin Suleymanov highlighted Taghiyev's role in education.
Guests praised the film for promoting Azerbaijan's culture and history.
