Iran's blockade of the Strait of Hormuz was discussed during the US president's visit to China. Political analyst Samir Humbatov stated that Iran's strength depends on Chinese support.
He noted that the lifting of the Hormuz blockade was a key topic in the Trump-Xi talks. If China makes concessions on Taiwan, the US may consider China's interests on Iran.
According to Humbatov, if China does not agree, the US could launch a "third freedom operation." There are two options: a peaceful resolution or a military coalition.
European countries are concerned about drug shortages due to the blockade. Rising drug prices could cause unrest in Europe and push Europe to pressure the US. This could lead to a large-scale confrontation.
