Romanian Deputy Foreign Minister Ana Cristina Tinka called Azerbaijan the most important state in the South Caucasus.
She spoke at an event in Bucharest dedicated to Azerbaijan's Independence Day.
Tinka expressed hope that the agreement on the Black Sea-Caspian multimodal transport corridor will be signed soon.
She welcomed the paraph of the peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia in 2025.
Romania supports deepening cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan.
