Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a congratulatory letter to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Independence Day.
In the letter, Tokayev highlighted Azerbaijan's achievements in statehood, socio-economic development, and international prestige.
He expressed confidence that under Aliyev's strong and wise leadership, Azerbaijan would successfully achieve high goals in ensuring sustainable economic growth and strengthening its potential as a regional power.
Tokayev noted Kazakhstan's commitment to the strategy of eternal friendship and mutual respect, and stressed the importance of developing strategic partnership and alliance.
He expressed confidence that active and trust-based political dialogue would help elevate Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan multifaceted cooperation to new heights for the benefit of their peoples.
Tokayev wished Aliyev new successes in his high state position, and peace and prosperity to the brotherly Azerbaijani people.
