Trans-Caspian Fiber Optic Cable to Be Launched Soon

President Ilham Aliyev announced the upcoming launch of the Trans-Caspian fiber optic cable, part of the Digital Silk Road project between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan spoke at the Informal Summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Turkistan, Kazakhstan.

He announced that the Trans-Caspian fiber optic cable line between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan is planned to be commissioned in the coming months.

This project is part of the Digital Silk Road, connecting Europe and Asia.
