Turkmenistan is adopting Azerbaijan's experience in alternative energy sources, according to Irina Grishkova, an employee of the Arkadag City Construction Committee under the President of Turkmenistan.
Speaking at a conference, she expressed satisfaction in presenting her city and hoped that many would learn about Turkmenistan and Arkadag.
Grishkova highlighted Azerbaijan's attention to ecology: 'You have a very high rate of work on alternative energy sources. Looking at your experience, we are also adopting it.'
In Arkadag, renewable energy facilities are being built, particularly at the railway station and bus station. Solar panels are being installed to reduce electricity consumption from the grid, thereby reducing emissions from gas-generated power.
