On June 5, 19 Azerbaijani citizens who were crew members of ships damaged by drone attacks in the Azov Sea were sent to the country.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they are expected to arrive around noon on June 9.
Search and rescue operations have recovered the bodies of Qismat Aliyev (born 1969) and Fuad Orujov (born 1981).
After relevant procedures, the remains of four citizens and two others staying in Yeysk will be repatriated in the coming days.
