Azerbaijan has provided 11 aid packages to support Ukraine's energy sector. Ukraine's First Deputy Prime Minister and Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal stated this during his speech at the 31st Baku Energy Forum.
He noted that last winter was the most difficult period for Ukraine and emphasized the importance of Azerbaijan's support: "Our Azerbaijani friends provided generators, transformers, cable products, and other vital equipment. This aid helped us successfully get through the winter."
Shmyhal also said that this support helps prepare for the next winter: "We express our deep gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov. We highly value this solidarity and sincerely thank you for the support. The existence of common interests and mutual understanding remains the main driving force of our cooperation and mutual trust."
