UN: Housing crisis hits women hardest

A UN official says the majority of people facing housing problems are women.

Simon Springett, UN Resident Coordinator in Barbados, spoke at the 13th session of the World Urban Forum in Baku.

He noted that many households are headed by women.

The UN can support in developing gender statistics, attracting investments, and addressing safety and climate risks.
