Mariam Sayed Mohamed Abdelsalam, a member of the UN Youth Advisory Board, spoke at a conference organized by the Baku Initiative Group (BIG) during WUF13 in Baku.
She emphasized the importance of global action to address the problems of colonized countries.
“We need to create new initiatives that directly target the health crisis and respond to it practically,” she said.
Highlighting the significance of international cooperation, she noted that the effects of colonialism and neocolonialism are still felt in many regions.
