European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has arrived in Azerbaijan for a working visit. A formal welcome ceremony was held at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Azerbaijan on July 1 for a working visit.

An honorary guard was lined up at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, where flags of Azerbaijan and the European Union were flying.

Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos, and other officials welcomed von der Leyen at the airport.
