European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen posted on X about her press statement with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
She emphasized, "We support peace through connectivity."
"The EU will invest up to €200 million in transport, energy & digital links across the region. With this, we can leverage €2 billion in additional investment. To build bridges between countries and people," she added.
This investment aims to strengthen regional cooperation.
