Deputy Hikmat Babayev commented on foreign influence in Armenia's parliamentary election on June 7.

He stated that Armenia is a weak state, so global powers try to subjugate it.

Currently, two main sides exist: the West and Russia. Both seek to bring Armenia into their sphere of influence.

However, the US has the upper hand because it has been the patron of the government since 2018.

The US provides economic and energy support to Armenia, even planning to build modular nuclear power plants.

The deputy believes the US will dictate the election and subsequent events unless Russia intervenes with classic force.
