Several heads of state have sent congratulatory letters to President Ilham Aliyev on Azerbaijan's Independence Day.

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia wrote: "I extend my warmest congratulations to you on your country's Independence Day. I wish you health and happiness, and the brotherly people of Azerbaijan further development and prosperity."

President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt said: "I value the friendly relations between Egypt and Azerbaijan. I reaffirm my commitment to close cooperation to deepen our ties in various fields of mutual interest."

President Petr Pavel of the Czech Republic: "The Czech Republic highly values its relations with Azerbaijan in energy, industry, trade, science, and education. We appreciate Azerbaijan's important role as a partner contributing to stability in the wider region."

President Zoran Milanović of Croatia: "Croatia and Azerbaijan are bound by years of cooperation and friendship. Our economic potential can stimulate further strengthening of our partnership."

King Mohammed VI of Morocco: "I greatly value the close relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and Azerbaijan. Our cooperation is strengthened by our determination to build a special partnership that meets the aspirations of our brotherly peoples."
