The Baku Initiative Group (BIG) implements various international projects within programs on the consequences and crises caused by colonial and neocolonial policies. These have been ongoing since 2019. Today, at the World Urban Forum (WUF13), our event is dedicated to colonial injustice and the housing crisis.

Oxu.Az reports that this was stated by Abbas Abbasov, Executive Director of the Baku Initiative Group (BIG). He noted that BIG prepares and presents reports on the situation created by colonial policies in various fields for international organizations, and this activity will continue.

Tomorrow's event will be dedicated to the role of youth in urbanization. At the same time, the first official meeting of the Global South Youth Platform will be held soon in Baku. Currently, the main focus is on preparations for these two meetings.
