On May 15, 2026, the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan conducted a medical-humanitarian campaign in Jabrayil under the "Great Return" program.
A specialized team from the Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology, including six obstetrician-gynecologists, one ultrasound specialist, one neonatologist, one midwife, and one nurse, provided consultative and preventive services to residents.
Gynecological examinations were performed for women, with consultations on reproductive health, pregnancy planning, infertility, hormonal changes, and prenatal care. Ultrasound evaluations assessed health indicators, and personalized medical advice was given.
The mobile service also covered children: infants and children were examined by the neonatologist, assessing their health status. Parents received education on proper nutrition, early development, immunity, and the importance of regular check-ups.
A total of 120 individuals were examined. Physicians emphasized maternal and child health, early disease detection, preventive screenings, and healthy lifestyles.
Such campaigns expand access to specialized medical services for regional residents, particularly protecting women's and children's health.
