Colombian rescuers have pulled an 11-year-old boy alive from the rubble in Venezuela after 70 hours.
According to Oxu.Az, the Colombian Ministry of Defense reported this on social network "X".
They noted that search and rescue operations continue non-stop in the disaster zone.
Recall that the earthquake in Venezuela occurred on the evening of June 24. Two tremors of magnitudes 7.2 and 7.5 were recorded about 40 seconds apart. The epicenters were located in Yaracuy state, 10 km apart. After that, 214 aftershocks occurred.
According to the latest data, 1,430 deaths have been officially confirmed, and another 3,238 people were injured. Additionally, 3,142 families have been left homeless and are currently receiving aid in special shelters.
