In St. Petersburg, an 11-year-old boy playing the saxophone on the street was shot by a local resident.
Russian Interior Ministry spokeswoman Irina Volk said the 38-year-old attacker was annoyed by the boy's performance and fired a pneumatic gun from his apartment window.
The child was hospitalized; his condition is unknown. The suspect has been detained.
According to the "Baza" Telegram channel, the shooter is an artist of the Mariinsky Theatre. The bullet hit the boy's cheek and lodged in his jaw.
