A 14-year-old girl from Moscow pretended to have a deadly disease for a year and a half. She injured herself and smeared blood around to avoid going to school.
According to Oxu.Az, the Mash Telegram channel reported the story. The mother noticed bleeding from the girl's nose, ears, and uterus. Parents repeatedly consulted doctors, but tests showed no serious problems.
Later, the parents noticed a telling detail: the episodes only occurred during the school year. When vacation started, all "symptoms" disappeared completely.
It turned out the student was deliberately self-harming to skip classes. Doctors suspected Munchausen syndrome, where a person fakes illness for attention. The girl was not expelled from school.
